Go back in time to explore the meeting and relationship of Meriweather Lewis and William Clark as they prepare for the journey of their lives. This is another great opportunity to explore the early history of Ohio and the United States before the 250th Anniversary!

Lou Ritten is a retired trader of financial instruments but a historian by avocation. He served on the Lewis & Clark Trail Alliance Board for eight years, four as President. He has served as historian on multiple Lewis & Clark bus excursions and conferences. He has three books to his credit with a fourth on the way. While originally from Minneapolis, he now splits his time between Chicago and New Orleans. He is the proud father of two and grandfather of twins.
